Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saowanee Thairungroj, President of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Paramaporn Prasattong, Chairman of the executive board of group 1, presided over the opening of the Rehabilitation Aide program (in the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, majoring in Rehabilitation Aide) at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
Qualified professors specialized in theory and practice from Bangkok Hospital taught the course throughout its 3-year duration. This marks the first time the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce has opened a health-specific program, aiming to enhance students’ potential for real-world practice. It also supports the production of rehabilitation support personnel to meet the increasing patient rate and improve the health level of the medical profession and Thai citizens. It prepares to fully support Thailand as the ASEAN health hub.
