Bangkok Hospital Headquarters advances to become a Medical Robot Hub —a center for medical robotics innovation at the Asia-Pacific level— and held a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony with Device Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to build upon knowledge and develop standards for treatment using robotic-assisted surgery (Robotic Surgery) based on experience with more than 1,000 cases while developing surgical teams and delivering even better treatment outcomes for patients and driving Thailand’s surgical standards to the international level. The event was honored by Dr.Aekkitti Surakarn Deputy Director, Bangkok HospitalDr.Chanin Pandee Director of the Surgery Center, Bangkok Hospital and Mr. Adam Brown Business Manager Capital Robotic Surgery, Device Technologies who jointly signed under a memorandum of cooperation for a period of 1 year. There will be a project to develop a robotic-assisted surgery system covering the establishment of a Robotic Surgery training center within the hospital, the development of surgeons and trainers, a Proctorship system at both national and international levels, the creation of patient-care standards, the development of infrastructure, and surgical simulation systems, while sustainably enhancing the quality of treatment with Robotic Surgery .
