Salpingo - OO Phorectomy or Salpingectomy (SO) Package

The expenses consist of :

• Doctor fee for obstetrician and anesthetist.
• Nursing fee for operation assistants and nurses.
• Operation room and convalescent room.
• Equipment and medical supplies used in the operation room.
• Anesthetic, gas and medicines.
• Room, meals, nursing and room services for inpatient staying 72 hours in the hospital.
• Necessary laboratory examination for operation such as CBC, HIV and pathologic biopsy (excluding special examinations such as Frozen Section, Tumor Marker etc.)
• Blood reservation fee of 1 unit excluding the cost of blood and blood components provided during the operation and post-operation.

The package price excludes :

• Fee for operation assistant doctors.
• Procedure expenses additionally incurred will be calculated according to the actual cost with 15% discount.
• In case of appendix operation, the expense will be additionally 6,000 Baht charged.
• Expenses incurred in ICU room (if necessary).
• Expenses of outpatient incurred prior to the operation process.
• Other expenses such as X-ray, laboratory, biopsy and medicines, which are not related to SO.
• Medicines and medical supplies provided for patient.
• In case that the patient would like to stay at the hospital longer, the hospital will pleasingly give him/her 15% discount for room and medicines.
• Remainder of room cost from the package.
• Room private expenses such as beverages, telephone and meals of relatives will be normally calculated.
• The following complications cannot be included in the package program:
  • Chronically inborn diseases such as heart disease, lung disease, uncontrollable diabetes, HIV infection.
  • Blood disease.
  • Reproductive cancer.
• The procedure performance takes 1.5 hours.
• If the procedure is longer performed, additional expenses will be charged.

Remark :

• This package shall be paid only by cash or by the domestic insurance companies.
• Bangkok Hospital reserves the right to change the price of package program without prior notice.
