Normal Delivery Package

The expenses consist of :

• Doctor fee for obstetrician and pediatrician.
• Fee of delivery room and its staff.
• Room (Single) for mother including meals and nursing services.
• Room for newborn baby and 48-hour nursing services.
• Medical supplies and medicines provided for patient during the hospital stay.
• Necessary laboratory examination for mother such as CBC.
• Necessary laboratory examination for newborn baby such as ABO gr., Rh, Screening PKU and TSH including vaccines provided for the baby such as BCG, Vitamin K, Hepatitis B and heart Ultrasound.
• Fee of OAE
• Gift set for the baby.
• Service charge of birth certificate.

The package price excludes :

• In case of vaginal delivery procedure, 1,000 Baht will be charged for medical equipments while 2,000 Baht will be additionally charged for the obstetrician.
• In case of tight placenta where anesthetic is used, 6,000 Baht will be additionally charged for the anesthetist and anesthetic while the fee of pediatrician will be separately charged.
• The sterilization performed after the delivery (24-48 hours) will be additionally charged in the amount of 12,000 Baht.
• In case of delivery of healthy twins without any complication, 7,000 Bath will be additionally charged for the second twin. The babies will stay in the baby room according to the package program (excluding the twin with premature labor).
• In case that the baby is suffered from the complication but such complication does not affect the mother, 7,000 Baht will be deducted from the package program for the expenses of baby and pediatrician while all expenses will be calculated according to the actual cost with 15% discount.
• If the mother is suffered from the delivery complication, the delivery according to package program will be unavailable. Therefore, the expenses will be calculated according to the actual cost with 15% discount.
• In case that the mother employs the delivery package but the operation must be conducted during the delivery, the mother can select the delivery operation package. The exceeding expenses of medicines, medical supplies, fees of delivery nurses will be normally calculated according to the actual cost with 15% discount.
• The package is unavailable for delivery with determined auspicious time or operation performed during 21.00 - 07.00 hrs.
• The package does not cover the case where the mother is suffered from medical complication, which requires additional treatment such as cancer, lung disease, heart disease, diabetes or spinal surgery.
• The mother having the following health problems, which can cause the high risk of delivery:
  • Toxemia of Pregnancy
  • Bleeding during pregnancy
  • Placental abruption
  • Placenta previa
• Room private expenses such as beverages, telephone and meals of relatives will be normally calculated.
• Remainder of room cost from the package.
• The discount provided for the companies and insurance companies and VIP discount coupon cannot be used with the package.
• Anesthetic used in the delivery process.

Remark :

• This package shall be paid only by cash or by the domestic insurance companies.
• Bangkok Hospital reserves the right to change the price of package program without prior notice.
• This price is available from January 1 - December 31, 2007.
