Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, referred to as CABG, is performed to bypass blockages and obstructions of the coronary arteries; one of the commonly known heart disease.

Heart disease is recognized as one of the top causes of death in Thailand . According to the statistics from the Ministry of Public Health, approximately 2 Thai people die every hour as a result of heart disease.

Bangkok Heart Hospital is the first Private Heart Hospital in South-East Asia . The hospital is equipped with state-of the-art equipments. With the combination of this and our very competent surgical team, we are ready to treat any aspect of heart diseases.

The package includes of the following fee :

1. Operating room, CCU for 2 nights, standard single room for 5 nights (including nursing fee, meals, room rate, and room service) totally 7 nights, starting from day of surgery.
2. Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Rehabilitations.
3. In hospital medications.
4. Laboratory and diagnostic, X-Ray.
5. Blood service and blood transfusion.

The package excludes of the following fee :

1. Pre-operative diagnosis (i.e. Cardiac Catheterization, other diagnosis)
2. Pre-operative room and service expenses. Post-operative expenses occur in the case of requiring additional days to recuperate.
3. Take home medicine, medical supplies, special medicine such as insulin injection, post-operative hemoglucose and lab for glucose test
4. Miscellaneous expenses i.e. additional food and beverage
5. Special medical equipment (if necessary)

Primary Consideration Criterion

1. Not over 65 years of age
2. The contractility of pumping chamber is better than 40%
3. No chronic renal failure of which creatinine level is above 2 mg/dl
4. No insulin dependent diabetes
5. No chronic obstructive pulmonary disease using inhaler
6. No stroke symptom before operation
7. No acute symptom of heart disease
8. No Intra Aortic Balloon Pump required
9. No blockage in the left main coronary artery
10. No history of heart surgery
11. No infection
12. Cash or credit card payment
13. Approval by heart surgeon at Bangkok Heart Hospital
