Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, referred to as CABG,
is performed to bypass the blockage or obstruction of the coronary arteries; one
of the commonly known heart disease.
Heart disease is
recognized as one of the top causes of death in Thailand. According to the
statistics from the Ministry of Public Health, approximately 2 Thai people die
every hour as a result of heart disease.

How to get in this package
- Not over 70 years of age
- No chronic renal failure of which creatinine level
is above 2 mg/dl
- The contractility of pumping chamber is better
than 30% (normal 75%)
- No chronic obstructive pulmonary disease using
inhaler or history of using inhaler
- No insulin dependent diabetes
- Hematocrit > 33%
- No stroke symptom within 21 days before operation
- No acute symptom of heart disease (Acute MI)
- No blockage in the left main coronary artery. IF
there is left main blockage, the blockage is not more than 90%
- No history of previous heart surgery
- No Intra Aortic Balloon Pump required
- No infection
- Cash or credit card payment
- Approval by heart surgeon from Bangkok Heart
Hospital
The package includes of the following fee :
- Operating room, CCU for 2 nights, standard single
room for 5 nights (including nursing fee, meals, room rate, and room
service) totally 7 nights, starting from day of surgery.
- Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Cardiac
Rehabilitations.
- Cross-matched blood preparation prior to the
operation
The package excludes of the following fee :
- Pre-operative study (i.e. Cardiac Catheterization,
other diagnosis)
- Pre-operative room and service expenses.
Post-operative expenses incur in the case of requiring additional days to
recuperate.
- Take home medicine, medical supplies.
- Special medicine such as insulin injection,
post-operative hemoglucose and lab for glucose test
- Miscellaneous expenses i.e. additional food and
beverage
- Special medical equipment (if necessary)
