Karen Tedder
Within a
year of receiving treatment for his prostate cancer at Bangkok Hospital Medical
Center, Ron's wife Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer. "What was the
prognosis?" explains Karen, "a shrug with a shoulder. I just didn't feel things
were being managed properly in Canterbury, and after Ron's experience with
cancer and the outstanding treatment he received at Bangkok Hospital, I felt
the decision was an easy one."
Upon
arriving in Bangkok, Thailand, Karen was immediately admitted for testing.
"They explain everything to you here," recalls Karen, "They tell you exactly
what they're going to do and how they're going to make you well. All the
diagrams, the technology, they went over everything - the confidence that gives
you is unbelievable. You feel a genuine sense of trust."
Karen was
treated at Bangkok Hospital Medical Center for stage 2 carcinoma. After three
days of treatment and ten days of healing, Karen was back on her feet, cancer
free.
