Getting Patients to Our Medical Facilities

Patients in need of emergency medical assistance receive aid both at the scene of the accident and in transit while being escorted in one of our state-of-the-art ambulatory vehicles.

  • Ambulance Service. Our ambulance service is dedicated to providing people throughout the country with the highest levels of pre-hospital medical emergency care and patient transport.
  • Motorlance Service. Our Motorlance is a fast, free emergency service, which arrives at the scene of an accident before the ambulance so that care can be administered more quickly. The Motorlance is a motorcycle equipped with modern life saving equipment such as a defibrillator, oxygen, and medication.
  • Air Ambulance Service. We combine highly trained medical personnel and state-of-the-art equipment with highly trained Flight Crews and expertly-maintained aircraft to provide the best air ambulance service in Southeast Asia.

Experienced Emergency Teams

Our Medevac team, consisting of aviation physicians, technicians, and professional nurses, has a minimum of four years experience in emergency room treatment and is fully trained in advanced life support procedures. Ongoing review and testing of emergency and critical care nurses’ skills are conducted to ensure the best possible treatment is always administered.

Medical Specialists and State-of-the-Art Equipment Available 24-Hours a Day

Bangkok Hospital provides medical expertise by well-recognized physicians in every medical specialty. We are well known for our integrated and specialized medical center and state of the art medical equipment. These specialties include the following:

  • Our Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) provides special nursing care and sophisticated cardiac care technologies. The CCU, the Respiratory Care Unit (RCU) and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) together form the Critical Care Unit. Located in large adjacent suites, the three units altogether contain more than 50 patient beds.
  • The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Bangkok Hospital is dedicated to the highest quality patient care and service. Our imaging and interventional services rank with the best in the nation, which are truly world class in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computerized Tomography (CT Scan).
  • The Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Center was opened as a Center of Excellence to treat patients with various kinds of brain disorders.
  • Off-pump surgery seeks to avoid using the heart-lung machine. It is a minimally invasive technique that enables the surgeon to perform surgery on multiple vessels within the beating heart. The benefits of off-pump surgery include shorter hospital and recovery time, less bleeding, less potential for infection, and less trauma.
