experienced today, Bangkok Hospital Medical Center has created the Bangkok
Allergy and Asthma Center. In addition to diagnosis and treatment, the Center
seeks to educate patients about the nature of their problems and to provide

Simply put, an allergy is an abnormal reaction to an otherwise harmless
substance that causes symptoms like wheezing, runny nose, rashes, and itchy

the airways swell, and mucus – a normal secretion – becomes trapped in the
airways. This results in wheezing, coughing and difficulty breathing. Serious,
untreated attacks can result in death.
