We provide translation services in more than 26 languages in order to make our patients from more than 160 countries feel at home. Our doctors and nurses are fluent in English, and translation coordinators facilitate communication throughout the patient's stay at BMC. On call day or night, our coordinators can schedule appointments with the appropriate physicians, provide information concerning treatments and available medical services, organize transportation, discuss financial arrangements, and convey information to doctors and loved ones at home.

We also recognize that different cultures have special dietary requirements, and have prepared our menus thoughtfully to serve the various tastes and beliefs of our patients. A significant segment of our international patients come to us from Japan and the Arab world. To ensure their comfort, we offer dedicated accommodation and community areas specifically designed to accommodate the traditions, tastes and faiths of each. BIH has also created outpatient clinics designed specifically for this segment of our patient population.
