Invasive Procedures
Cardiac Catheterization
is procedures where by tiny polyethylene tubes known as
catheters are inserted into the aorta to research the arteries that supply the
heart. A Small amount of contrast meterial (dye) is then injected that flows
along with blood into these arteries and delineate and narrowing on obstructions
if any in them, making it possible to more appropriately decide on the type of
treatment that suits on individual patient and risks involved.
