The Full Endoscopic Spine Clinic (FESC) was first established in Bangkok Hospital Medical Center by two pioneers surgeons; Dr. K.Verapan and Dr. P.Sompoch. This is to provide the most advanced diagnostics and treatments available to peripheral nerve entrapment, spinal disorders and injuries patients. After both Dr. K. Verapan and Dr. P. Sompoch had certified the full-endoscopic uniportal spinal surgery from Dr. S. Ruetten, they brought the revolutionary concept in spinal surgery which encompasses the spectrum of care for the spinal disorder patient.
The Full Endoscopic Spine Clinic (FESC) is the exclusive multidisciplinary team which lead by neurosurgical and orthopedic spine surgeons, and also neurologists, physiatrists, neuroradiologists, anesthesiologists, physical medicine and rehabilitationist ,nurse practitioners and therapists with international reputations in research and clinical programs. Additionally, internal medicine consultants are available to assist in pre- and post-operative patient management. The Full Endoscopic Spine Clinic (FESC) had already reported our nearly ninety cases with full endoscopic lumbar discectomy. About thirty two cases was operated in Germany. Nearly sixty cases; since February, 2008 to July, 2008, was operated in Thailand. Regarding from Mcnab's Criteria, FESC reported 87.4% of patients achieved excellent and good outcome. 93.5% of patients had significant improvement of sciatic pain immediately after the operation.
